Having nearly three decades of hunting experience, we realize that planning a safari trip to South Africa, whether it be for hunting or touring, seems very daunting to most of our clients. Rest assured that by booking with us you will receive our best attention at all times, and we will assist you with every aspect of your hunting safari or tour.

Being passionate bow hunters ourselves, we have a very good understanding of the conditions and requirements of the bow hunter and have set aside more than 6000 acres of our own land for bow hunting only. No rifle hunts are conducted on this area, which has 14 blinds - either condos, or "antheap" blinds set up so that the maximum shot is 25 yards, and most shots are even closer than that. We also have tree stands, and pop-up blinds which can be set up to meet any clients individual preference.

A typical plains game archery hunt will progress as follows:

We personally meet you on your arrival at Johannesburg International Airport and drive you to the hunting camp - a trip of about 4 hours north of Johannesburg near the Botswana border. Once there you settle in, sight your bow, discuss your "wish list" of trophies and then you get a good nights rest. The next day, and every day of your hunt, we take you out to the blind at which we know you will have the best chance of harvesting the trophies you are looking for. You take with you a packed lunch, sodas, etc. as well as a 2-way radio, and settle in to see which of your trophies will present you with a shot opportunity.

Once you have shot your animal you call us on the radio, and we will be there within a few minutes to help you track and recover your trophy. After photo opportunities, your animal is taken to the skinning shed where our skinners will prepare it for mounting according to your instructions. You can then continue to hunt for the remainder of the day.

You will be fetched from your blind just after last shooting light, and after a good hot shower, a few games of pool or a few stories around the fire and a good meal you will be ready to recharge your batteries for the next days hunting with a good nights sleep.

At the end of your hunt we will take you to meet the taxidermist who will handle your trophies. You can either have him mount and ship them to you, or you can have them treated and shipped back to your home country for mounting . After that we see you safely to the airport for your flight home.

Pricing

Normal Hunts:

1. 1 on 1 = $350 per hunter per day.
2. 2 on 1 = $275 per hunter per day.
3. Observers = $150 per person per day.
4. Days spent traveling between hunting area are charged at $150 per person per day.
5. Overnight accommodations to cost of client.
6. Return transport from airport to camp is $300 per vehicle.
7. Arrival night accommodation and meals is $75 per person.

Special Group Hunts:

1. Minimum of 4 hunters.
2. $250 per hunter per day.
3. Observers are $150 per person per day.
4. 1 x PH and 1 hunting vehicle to every 4 bow hunters.
5. Hunt takes place in Northern Province only.
6. Return transport from airport to camp is $300 per vehicle.
7. Arrival night accommodations and meals is $75 per person.

Included in daily rates:

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the daily rate (per person) to confirm your dates is required.  Hunts will be charged at the rate applicable to the year the hunt takes place, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
