Alaska.
Trophy Moose Hunt Fully guided "Lodge
Hunts" Hunting Trophy Moose is an adventure in spectacular country. We provide a limited number of Trophy Moose hunts each season. Trophy Caribou Hunts We believe that we have one of the best Caribou areas and hunts in all of Alaska. Our success record at these locations supports our pride in this fact. Our Caribou hunting has gone from good to excellent with the dramatic increase in the population of the Mulchatna Caribou Herd over the last ten years. Our Trophy Caribou success averages between 90% and 100%! Fall Brown / Grizzly Bear Our two Guide/Hunting Areas in Southwest Alaska are in one of Alaska's most beautiful and productive regions encompassing the 1.6 million acre Wood-Tikchik Park. North of the world-famous salmon fishing grounds of Bristol Bay and bordered by the Nushagak lowlands on the east and the Wood River Mountains to the west, the area has a variety of terrain and vegetative ones renowned for their diverse beauty. Our Brown Bear hunting in this Salmon-spawning region is excellent. We feel fortunate to be able to work with the Alaska Department of State Parks and conduct our guiding operation in the wild and beautiful region of Southwest Alaska's Wood River-Tikchik River Park. Our bears average 8 - 9 feet squared. Our Brown Bear hunts may be combined with Trophy Caribou by adding some extra days at our Caribou camp in late September before going to Bear camp. Our Mountain Grizzly hunt is another great combination hunt which includes Caribou. Our Mountain Grizzly Bears vary tremendously in hair coloration, ranging from light-blonde to dark brown and average 7 - 8 feet squared in size. Most of our Bear hunting camp locations have fantastic sportfishing opportunities to enjoy during and after your Bear hunt.
Our Brown Bear hunting area in Southeast Alaska encompasses the northwest coastal region of Admiralty Island, with 0 miles of coastline within the Admiralty Island National Monument and Kootznoowoo (Fortress of the Bears) Wilderness Areas of the Tongass National Forest. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game ranks this area as having one of the highest Brown Bear population densities of anywhere on Earth with a population density average of one Brown Bear per square mile.
