Bear Hunts

Our Bear Hunts are 5 Day.  We hunt with Hounds with tracking equipment.  The majority of our Bears are color phase (blond, light and dark brown) with a few Black also taken.  Hunting is done by 4x4 Vehicles.  We drive roads till the Hounds strike a track, then we release the dogs.

Cougar Hunts

Our Cougar hunts are also 5 Day.  We hunt with Hounds with tracking equipment.  Hunting is done by 4x4 vehicles and snowmobiles.  We also offer a Guaranteed Cougar Hunt for 7 Days.  If Client is unsuccessful, he may return at no cost (excluding travel to N.M., license fee for a different year).

Elk

Our Bull Elk Hunts are 5 Day.  We hunt public land with Limited permits.  We also hunt some private Ranches upon request.  Our Elk hunts take place in Santa Fe, Carson National Forest and BLM properties of Northern New Mexico.

Mule Deer Hunts

Our Deer Hunts take place in the Carson National Forest and BLM Properties of Northwest New Mexico bordering the West Boundary of the Jicarilla Apache Reservation, which covers an area of over 1 million acres.  This is a draw hunt, no landowner permits available for this hunt.  Your chance of drawing a hunt is about 75%.  I will notify you after the drawing which takes place in mid-June.  This area has a history of producing large Mule Deer.  Our hunts are 5-Day.

Antelope Hunts

Our Antelope Hunts take place in Northeast New Mexico on our Private Ranch.  The average Antelope taken on this hunt is a 13" to 15" Buck.  Our Antelope hunts are normally 100%.

Trophy Antelope Hunts

Our Trophy Antelope Hunts take place in  South Central New Mexico.  This area has a history of producing B&C Bucks.  Our hunt takes place on a Private Ranch.  The average Antelope taken on this hunt is a 15"-plus Buck.  Our Antelope Hunts are normally 100%.  The Antelope Hunts are 2-Day.

General Issues

Travel:

Clients will fly to Albuquerque International Airport and drive to camp locations.  We can make all travel arrangements from your home to New Mexico and return.  Airport pickup and return can be arranged.

Insurance:

While all possible precautions are taken to protect you against accident, sickness or other loss, NO LIABILITY can be accepted in this regard.  You are required to arrange for your own personal, travel, all risks, hunting and medical insurance.

Health Precautions

A First Aid Kit is carried by your guide.  More sophisticated medical facilities are available within a radius of 50-100 miles of the various hunting areas.

Weather and Clothing

New Mexico is an area of vast weather variants (according to the season), from below freezing winter conditions to late summer and early fall t-shirt weather.  Clothing should be accommodating to weather conditions and season-geography of species being hunted.  After booking, client will receive a contract and suggestions as to clothing and equipment.

Firearms

Center-fire, muzzle loader, handgun and archery are acceptable, depending on the species being hunted and the hunt season being applied for.

Trophy Care and Meat Processing

These are provided by private businesses for a additional fee.  We use several local Taxidermists and Meat Processors

Camps

Our hunting camps are based out of Heated Tents, Cabins or Motels, depending on the species and time of year.
