Big Game Hunting in Alaska
Welcome to
big game hunting adventures. Here you will find some of the best Alaskan
registered hunting guides, outfitters, transporters, flying services,
lodging and remote hunting cabins. This hunting opportunity offers fully
guided hunts, drop off hunts, unguided float hunts and more, for most
species of Alaskan big game and fishing.

Moose Hunts:
Generally, moose are found along drainages with scattered spruce trees,
alders (brush) and hills and are usually down in creek bottoms. Hip boots
are a must. Our moose season begins September 1st and end September
25th. The first week, bulls may still be in velvet. Bulls taken the last
week of the season may be in the "rut". All trips are limited
participation, one hunter with one guide per camp, unless the clients
requests otherwise, or the hunt is booked as a 2x1. Our employee to client
ratio is usually well over two employees per client with six clients per
hunt.

combinations include:

Dall
Sheep...
Alaska's dall sheep are found ranging in areas of open alpine ridges,
meadows, and steep slopes with extremely rugged "escape terrain". They are
high country animals and are one of the greatest trophy animals. The hunt,
while not easy, will provide rewards and satisfaction to last a lifetime.
Guided Caribou
Hunts:
The
Difference between our guided hunts and most others:
We take a small fraction of the clients that
most operators in Alaska take, this is a maximum of 6 guided hunters in
the field at one time. Our base of
operation is located 230 miles west of Anchorage. (usually within 25 miles
of good numbers of the Mulchatna caribou herd). In support of our caribou
hunts, we use a minimum of three aircraft, privately owned and for
exclusive support of our clients. We have been guiding hunting clients and
flying in this area of Alaska since 1976.
Spring Bear Hunts:
-
88% tags filled
in 1998 to 2003
-
10 bears for 11
hunters Spring 2002
-
A maximum of 3
clients per 10 day hunt
-
2 master guides
and a registered guide, combined spring grizzly experience
